Axial Piston Pump Working Mechanism

Hydraulic axial piston pump is a piston pump in which the reciprocating direction of the piston or plunger is parallel to the central axis of the cylinder.

The axial piston pump works by utilizing the volume change caused by the reciprocating movement of the plunger parallel 

to the transmission shaft in the plunger hole.

Since the plunger and plunger hole are both round parts, 

they can achieve high precision fit during processing, 

so they have the advantages of high volumetric efficiency, smooth operation, good flow uniformity, low noise, and high working pressure. 

But they pollute the hydraulic oil more sensitive, more complex structure, higher cost.
